In 2022, Dishaa Creative Dance Group was entrusted with choreographing Babasaheb: The Grand Musical – a monumental state-commissioned production honoring the life and legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.

Under the visionary direction of Basu Sharma, and accompanied by music composed by celebrated Indian Ocean band, an ensemble of 30 dancers from our company animated the stage with precision, power, and poignancy.

Presented by the Government of Delhi and E-Factor Experiences, the musical unfolded across 50 performances at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, each show a spectacle of light, movement, and narrative grandeur. Extensively covered by national media, the production stands as a landmark in Indian cultural theatre – where dance became both a medium of tribute and a force of transformation.
