In 2022, Dishaa Creative Dance Group was invited to perform at the GRIHA Summit, the flagship sustainability conference organized by the GRIHA Council and TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute) at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.

Our performance was designed as a symbolic dialogue between art and environment, weaving Indian classical and contemporary movement vocabularies with the theme of Panchtatva — the five elements of nature. Through rhythm, visual formations, and expressive storytelling, we brought to life the eternal bond between humanity and the natural world.

Celebrated by dignitaries, thought leaders, and policy-makers, the performance underscored our commitment to creating works that are not only aesthetic spectacles, but also cultural reflections on pressing global concerns. By presenting art as a language of sustainability, Dishaa Creative Dance Group positioned dance as both heritage and advocacy on one of India’s most prestigious platforms.
